WHO I AM
I am a creative, enthusiastic and professional graphic designer and graphic artist.
I started my carreer as an English teacher in Mexico City while I was studying at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico where I graduated from in 2009. After graduation, I commenced work as a Graphic Designer for the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social. Recently I have been trying to utilize my graphic design skills with cartoons and caricatures for my new projects. I try to learn every day from new experiences while combining them with my previous knowledge. I believe this is the best way to produce new artwork and design interesting concepts.
EXPERIENCE
INSTITUTO MEXICANO DEL SEGURO SOCIAL (Mexican Institute of Health)
This institute of health is the largest in Mexico. It consists of four resorts designed to be convenient for families, affordable for most of the population, and promote healthy life. One of the main goals of this institute is to prevent diseases with the help of their resorts, and not to just heal diseases. I had the opportunity to work with them for eight years on publicity and advertising campaigns, visual content for social media (Facebook and Twitter) and graphic materials (digital and print) for internal and external marketing and web content.
Some of the graphic material I made with them include flyers, posters, signage, brochures, banners, postcards, business cards, and publications.
I also provided Power Point presentations, monthly reports and database entries.
GOOFY FACES AND MANIS CREATIVE CARICATURES
I started working as a caricature artist two years ago for two different companies as well as doing some gigs on my own. I renewed my joy of drawing again. Now I try to incorporate new caricatures and cartoons into logos, gift cards, coloring books, t-shirts, and stickers.
